The Walking Dead Rp-Chapter Eight

Ginger: Good thing we have enough.

Edgar: Yes. *Smiles and starts eating*

Mavris: *starts packing up her things*

Edgar: Mavris, are where are you going?

Mavris: Yeah, I think it's time I leave off on my own again.

Edgar: Are you sure?

Mavris: I'm sure. I've always been done better on my own anyways. Besides, I have a favor to run for ... someone.

Edgar: Who?

Mavris: *keeps packing her things* Red.

Edgar: And what favor it was?

Mavris: *glances over her shoulder* I'm going to search for his daughter. Something he was going to do.

Edgar: He had a daughter?!

Mavris: Red didn't tell me much. All he said is that is wife was murdered and someone or something took his daughter. He didn't say why or how or who. But ever since then he and Brulee have been traveling world from world looking for her. Both Red and Brulee are dead and someone has to save her in his place.

Edgar: Do you need help?

Mavris: No. You have another job. You have take your friends somewhere safe. Besides, I've always worked better alone.

Edgar: Are you sure?

Mavris: Yes. Besides, you and I never really got along, did we?

Edgar: No, but we could try to be friends. But is ok. Go, search for her. You are welcome to return here whenever you want.

Mavris: *packs her things* I may or may not return. But I'll keep that offer in mind.

Edgar: I wish you luck!

Mavris: *nods* You too, Argonian. *opens the bus door and leaves*

Edgar: Thanks.

Ginger: *looks* Where did Mavris go?

Edgar: She left. She has to find Red’s daughter.

Ginger: Red had a daughter? Wow, I had no idea...

Edgar: Neither do I…

Ginger: You know, I feel a little ashamed... I never really talked to Red and now that he's gone, I.. I kind of wish I got to know him a little better.

Edgar: Me too… *Sigh*

Ginger: I see there was a lot more to Red. I know he didn't want to pull that trigger. But he knew he had too, to save us.

Edgar: I wish I could have helped him…

Ginger: *sigh* Me too... Poor Red.

Edgar: *Sits and hugs Ginger*

Ginger: *hugs him back*

Twinkle: Mr.Edgar? Are we ever going to see Mavris again?

Edgar: I think we will.

Ginger: Mavris is very brave. I'm sure she will be just fine.

Edgar: Ginger is right. She is.

Twinkle: Oh, ok. *smiles* I hope she find's Red's daughter.

Edgar: She will. I’m sure.

Twinkle: Mr. Edgar? What are we going to do now?

Edgar: I think we should try to find you parents in this town

Twinkle: *smiles* Ok.

Ginger: That's a good idea. Once we find them, we should find somewhere safe until this dies down.

Edgar: *Nods*

Ginger: If this ever dies down... There might not even be a cure for this.

Edgar: I’m sure there is. Don’t worry, Ginger.

Ginger: I hope you're right, Edgar.

 

Gary: *comes over* Well, I looked at our supplies. We should look for more food and things daily. It's too dark to go out now, we should look again tomorrow morning.

Edgar: Allright.

Gary: *looks at Twinkle* Oi, you don't look so good. Are you feeling alright?

Edgar: Oh, no!

Ginger: Twinkle, are you feeling alright? *worried*

Gary: She's looking really pale.

Twinkle: Well, I-I just feel a little dizzy, that's all.

Edgar : *Touches her forehead* She is hot… looks like fever

Ginger: Oh dear... We don't have any medicine right now, what should we do, Edgar?

Edgar: I can use my magic.

Ginger: Oh? I didn't know your magic could do these kinds of things.

Edgar: Well… my strongest magic is my healing one… I never tried with a disease before, but I can try.

Ginger: Wow, that's still amazing though.

Edgar: *Smiles*

Gary: It is amazing. I can't say I know anyone who could do that.

Edgar: I can teach you, if you want. *Uses his magic and tries to heal Twinkle*

Ginger: Did it work, Edgar?

Edgar: I think so… how do you feel, Twinkle?

Twinkle: *wags her tail* Much better!

Ginger: She doesn't look so pale anymore. *smiles*

Edgar: It did!

Twinkle: *giggles* You're so awesome, Mr. Edgar! I hope I'm as awesome as you when I grow up.

Edgar: I know you will! You are awesome too!

Twinkle: *wags her tail* You really think so?

Edgar: Sure!

Twinkle: That would be so awesome if I did. *smiles*

 

Ginger: Of course you will, Twinkle. *smiles*

Edgar: You are awesome right now!

Twinkle: *giggles happily*

Edgar: *Smiles* 

Ginger: Edgar, I wonder about that shadowy figure we kept seeing. What do you think about him/her or it?

Edgar: I'm not sure. Perhaps he is trying to help us...

Ginger: You really think so, Edgar?

Edgar: Yes. Though, I still have my doubts about him

Ginger: I don't trust it, Edgar. But maybe you are right.

Edgar: Neither do I… but, until we see he is good or bad, we can’t know for sure

Ginger: Yes, you are right.

Edgar: *Sits* I hope we find more about him or her soon.

Ginger: Edgar, do you ever wonder about Viggo?

Edgar: I do…

Ginger: Do you think he's still around? And that he's still looking for Twinkle?

Edgar: Perhaps... but, if he is... he prbably is searching for Twinkle.

Ginger: *nods* I'm just worried he will find her...

Edgar: I’m too… I’m too…

Ginger: I'm not sure why he wants her though... Do you?

Edgar: No…. but not for something good…

Ginger: No, it can't. I just wonder why. He's working so hard to get her...

Edgar: I know… but… why? What he knows that we don’t?

Ginger: Exactly. It can't be good, whatever it is...

Edgar: *Sigh* I won’t let him take her. No matter what it happens.

Edgar: I want to know why he is going after her.

Ginger: *nods* I do too. Do you have any ideas, Edgar?

Edgar: Not really... I have first to find him.

Ginger: Yes. And, how do you plan to do so?

Edgar: I’m not sure either…

Ginger: Or... Maybe he will find us. Maybe he knows where Twinkle is?

Edgar: Maybe… maybe not.

Edgar: I hope, he don't... for his own good.

Ginger: *smiles* Because there's a brave Argonian protecting her.

Edgar: *Smiles* Exactly

Ginger: *smiles* You're right, he better watch out.

Edgar: *Nods*

Twinkle: *climbs into Edgar's lap*

Edgar: Hello, Twinkle! Nice jump!

Twinkle: *giggles* Thanks!

Edgar: You are welcome!

Twinkle: I just wanted to sit next to you and Ginger! *smiles*

Edgar: I’m glad you like being with us!

Ginger: *smiles*

Twinkle: *giggles* Of course I do! You are like my family to me.

Edgar: To me too!

Edgar: You too are like my family… and talking about that… have I told you I have parents?

Twinkle: *shakes her head* Uh-huh, I didn't know you had a Mommy and Daddy.

Edgar: Yes, I have. His names are Edlio and Ereseei.

Twinkle: Oh! *smiles* I hope to meet them one day!

Edgar: I know you will, Twinkle. And how about you, Ginger? Can I meet your parents someday?

Ginger: Oh, I don't have any parents. But I would love to meet yours one day as well.

Edgar: You don’t? *Sad*

Ginger: No, I grew up in the orphanage and when I got old enough, I went out on my own. I never met or heard of my parents and I never got adopted. But it's alright. *smiles*

Edgar: Oh… I see. *Hugs her*

Ginger: *smiles*

Twinkle: Poor Ginger.

Ginger: It's ok, Twinkle. *smiles*

Edgar: I’m sorry.

Ginger: It's alright, really. I'm a lot happier now. *smiles*

Edgar: *Smiles and keeps hugging her*

Ginger: *smiles and hugs him back*

Edgar: I love you.

Ginger: I love you too, dear Edgar.

Edgar: Oh! By the way! I almost forgot! *Gives her a small card*

Ginger: *smiles* Oh, what is this Edgar?

Edgar: Is a love card.

Ginger: *smiles* Oh, how sweet! *opens it*

Edgar: I hope you like it.

Ginger: *giggles* This is so nice, Edgar! Thank you so much.

Edgar: My pleasure.

Ginger: You are too kind to me. *smiles*

Edgar: You deserve all the kindness in the universe. And beyond.

Ginger: *giggles* Oh, Edgar. I love you so much.  I don't deserve a kind soul like you.

Edgar: Why not? You deserve that and more.

Ginger: Because you are so kind and brave and loyal and I just think you deserve someone who is just as wonderful as you instead of silly old me.

Edgar: *Strokes her face* But… you are awesome… and cute, and kind. I love you.

Ginger: *smiles* I love you too. And I will try to be the best I can before you, dear Edgar.

Edgar: *Smiles* I will, too, Ginger. I’m going to make you the happiest girl ever!

Ginger: *giggles* And I will make you the happiest boy ever!

Edgar: *Kisses her softly on the cheek* I know you will. I am already the happiest boy ever. At your side

Ginger: *kisses him back* And I’m the happiest girl in the world. As long as I get to be with you.

Edgar:*Hugs her*

Ginger: *hugs him back*

Twinkle: *yawns*

Edgar:  I’m tired. *Yawns*

Twinkle: Me too. *sleepy*

Ginger: We should get some sleep, then.

Edgar: Allright, dear. We will. * Closes his eyes*

Twinkle: *leans against Edgar's chest and falls asleep*

Ginger: *giggles* I guess Twinkle was sleepy. Goodnight, dear. *learns against Edgar's shoulder*

Edgar: Goodnight, my beautiful, sweet muffin *Falls asleep*

*later, in the middle of the night*

Twinkle: *looking out the window*

Ginger: *still asleep*

Edgar: *Wakes up* Twinkle… are you awoken?

Twinkle: *still looking out the window* There's someone outside.

Edgar: Someone? Who?

Twinkle: I'm not sure. Look, there's another person. And another one. I don't think they are zombies. They've been out there for a long time.

Edgar: Let me see, ok? *Takes Ginger’s head gently and moves her a little so he can stand up*

Ginger: *still asleep*

Twinkle: Are you going outside?

Edgar: *Nods* They could be survivors. They might need help.

Twinkle: Can I come too? Please? I promise I'll stay close to you and do what you say.

Edgar: Sure! *Takes her hand*

Twinkle: *smiles and takes his hand*

Twinkle Yay!

Edgar: *Smiles and opens the bus door carefully* Hello…?

*The dark figures turn and look at him*

Edgar: Hello! Do you need help?

*They approach him*

Twinkle: *gets closer to Edgar*

Edgar: Hello? Do you need help?

Fox 1: Are you Edgar Algae?

Edgar: Yes. Why?

Fox 2: *sees Twinkle* Yes, that's him alright.

Twinkle: *gets close to Edgar*

Fox 3: *to Edgar* Actually, you can help us by coming with us.

*more foxes emerge from the darkness*

Edgar: I…umm… why do you need me? *Picks Twinkle up*

Fox 1: We'll explain when we get there. We have orders to get you there safely.

Edgar: My friends too?

Fox 2: You and the little girl, yes.

Fox 3: There's more survivors? Sorry, we were told to find you and little girl. I don't think the others can come.

Edgar: B-But… please. I can’t leave them here.

Edgar: Can they come?

Fox 1: They can't. This is ... "government" business which involves you two.

Fox 2: There isn't much time, we have to go. Now.

Edgar: *Doggie eyes* Please?

Fox 2: *stern* Come along.

*More foxes begin to slowly surround them*

Edgar:  Can I think about it? *Whispers to Twinkle* I’m not sure they are friendly, Twinkle.

Twinkle: *whispers* I don't think so either, Mr. Edgar... *worried*

Fox 1: Listen, we can take that girl away from here. Somewhere safe from this epidemic.

Fox 2: Trust me, it's safer than where you are at now.

Fox 1: Yes. What do you say?

Edgar: No. I don’t want to come without my friends.

Edgar: And you are scary.

Fox 1: *glares* You had to make it difficult, didn't you, lizard?

*They pull out guns and point them at Edgar*

Fox 2: You two are coming with us whether you want to or not...  *glares*

Twinkle: *clings to Edgar*

Edgar: *Holds Twinkle* I knew it…

Foxes: *points the gun at Edgar's head*

Fox 1: Come along... NOW.

Edgar: *Whispers to Twinkle* What I should do?

Twinkle: *whispers* I-I don't know... They're scary... Mr. Edgar, I'm scared.

Fox 1: Well... Are you going to come peacefully or are we going to have to use force?

Edgar: *Whispers* I’m too…

Fox 1: Well? what's it going to be? You cooperate or we use force.

Edgar: No. Sorry. I won’t let you take Twinkle and I to any place we don’t want.

Fox 2: *glares* A very unwise decision.

Twinkle: *clings to Edgar*

Edgar:  *Holds Twinkle tight*

Someone grabs Edgar from behind*

Edgar: Whoa!

Spike: Well, well, look who it is. *grins*

Edgar: Oh no!

Twinkle: Oh no...

Spike: *grins* Hello. Misbehaving as usual. I think you should behave and just do what these gents say. Trust me. It's for your own good, lizard.

Edgar: Let us go! Why do you want us for?!

Spike: You'll find out when you get there. *grins*

Edgar: No! I won’t let you take us anywhere! You will have to take me unconscious if you want to do so!

Spike: *shrugs* Ok, if you insist. If it's a concussion you want, I'll give you a concussion. *slams his head into a metal sign*

Twinkle: Mr. Edgar!

Edgar: Ouch…. *Falls*

Spike: *grins, picks him up and slams him into the metal street sign again*

Edgar: Ouch… you will have to make more… than that… to take us…

Penny: *Opens the door* Edgar! I will save you! *Jumps and tries to kick Spike* Hya!

Spike: *grins and grabs Penny by the throat* Well, who is this? One of your friends, lizard?

Ginger: What's going on out here?! *opens the door*

Penny: *Has difficulty to breathe*

Edgar: We…have to run… Twinkle… run with Ginger. I will make time for you.

Edgar: *Stops holding Twinkle* Go...

Twinkle: B-But Mr. Edgar! They'll hurt you!

Fox 1: You're not going anywhere... *grabs Twinkle*

Twinkle: *screams*

Spike: *holds on to Edgar and Penny* So, you want to die, you little brat? Huh?! *grins and tightens his grip on them*

Ginger: No! stop it!! *rushes out*

Edgar: *Tries to open Spike’s grip*

Penny: Let…us…go!

Edgar: *Sees Ginger* No…Ginger… run…run…
